Yep, you're reading this right. I've strongly considered changing the title of my main Yu-Gi-Oh! fanon idea.

The new title ideas mostly derive from the Greek letter 'chi', in which the uppercase letter looks identical to the capital letter X, as well as the terms "cross" and "crossing over". And on the assumption that after Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH wraps up that there's a ninth Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, the 'X' can also represent the number 10, but knowing Yu-Gi-Oh! as a whole, that's a major stretch.

Oh well. Anyways, as everyone knows, I can't change the group name, so I'm just throwing this idea out there. I intend for MAXUS to be the title for my main Yu-Gi-Oh! fanon, so... what about MAX, you ask? For now, that's gonna be kept in the dark.

This could be the biggest undertaking in coming up with fan-made Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.  But I think I might want to use Magic Set Editor to "fill in the gaps" regarding the Numbers, between 108 and 1000 (yes, I already came up with a Number 108, it's this: https://ycm.fandom.com/wiki/Number_108:_Sacred_Birth_Dragon).  So I'm just putting this Journal here for Group members as well as anyone who likes making up Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to just throw their ideas at me and for me to look through them and decide which ones would be good.  Mind you, I doubt I'll be drawing any artwork, so a better artist can take the mantle if they so want to.

Taken:
Number 108: Sacred Birth Dragon
Number 200: Numeron Avatar
Number 300: Numeron Unity
Number 400: Numeron Resonance
Number 500: Numeron Basis
Number 800: Numeron Legacy
Number 900: Numeron Planet

Anyways, who wants to volunteer?  I'm all ears.  Or...eyes, rather.

Now that I have submitted my first custom Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to my deviantART page, I'm hoping I can call on you people for your help.  As you've probably noticed, a few cards are still works in progress, mostly because it's hard for me to come up with ATK/DEF and effects sometimes.  So here's what I'll do.  I will show each card that I make that still has yet to reach completion and if you have any ideas that might help, I will consider and/or welcome them.

Shadow Cards

3 min read
I guess it's about time I made a blog on this.  Anyways, the Shadow Cards are basically Duel Monsters cards infused with Shadow Realm energy.  In Yu-Gi-Oh! CYBOTIX, the Tracers have developed technology to harness the powers of darkness and convert it into energy to create custom Shadow Cards.

Example:
Shadow Knight by TheThunder-Art

Exclusive to the series, a Tracer administrator and a Samurai Master named Shear Nobunaga uses the Secret Six Samurai Monster Cards as Shadow Cards, seeing as their original Japanese translation addressed them as "Shadow Six Samurai".

Here are the current Rulings of the Shadow Monster Cards:
- Shadow Monsters have two different Level Star colors - Red and Purple.  A Shadow Xyz Monster, Shadow Dreadnought for example, has its usual Rank Stars instead of red Level Stars.
- Shadow Monsters can enter "Shadow Mode" based on the number of purple Level/Rank Stars (Shadow Level Stars), so while Shadow Link Monsters and Shadow Epoch Monsters can also enter Shadow Mode, it's done a little differently.  For monsters with Level/Rank Stars, they require Shadow Counters equal to or more than the number of Shadow Level Stars.  Playing Shadow Spells and Traps can add them on and in some rulings, Tributing monsters can as well.  With Link Monsters and Epoch Monsters, the number of Shadow Counters required is printed on them since they do not have Level/Rank Stars.
- While a Shadow Monster is in Shadow Mode, its Attribute becomes DARK and cannot be treated as any other Attribute nor can it also be treated as a different Attribute.  It also gains 500 ATK and during each of your Battle Phases, it must attack if possible.  Shadow Mode lasts as long as the Shadow Monster has enough Shadow Counters to sustain it.  Some Shadow card effects can remove Shadow Counters.

I... kinda forgot after all this time who helped provide me with Shadow Card templates. ^^;  It was either :iconmeedogh: or :icongraysongoodwin:...

As usual, feedback is important.  Please consider offering your opinions and/or thoughts.

Please welcome our first and long-awaited Co-Founders to my custom Yu-Gi-Oh! group:
:iconbatmed::iconalanmac95:

For those of you who know them and/or are familiar with their work, they will surely be wonderful additions to the staff and I am honored to have them aboard taking the positions I originally planned for them.  Thank you very much!
