Now on the off chance that the themes around here are making you sick and you prefer more vanilla porn, then you'll want to try some of those joke sites that put rules and regulations (aka censorship) on the artistic endeavors of writers. We like our artistic freedom around here, so you'll have to take the "bad" with the "good."

You might try a book store or a library. In those places you should be able to find books written by professionals. The books are also produced by publishing houses which have large staffs of professional editors and proofreaders.

This website is open to amateurs who do not have editors and proofreaders to bring their written stories up to your high standards.

 

Thanks for that! I had a spat with a few people recently on one of my stories about a proof reading error - I reread the story many times before I posted it and it still sneaked (snuk?) through.
I think if you are familiar with the story it is more difficult to proof read as you tend to read it quickly. As regards spelling - apart from the US/UK difference, there is no excuse - use spell check!

 

My stuff is proofed at least 5 times - you will still find mistakes. We're just humans, not machines.

Writing is probably the most difficult task any of us will ever endeavor to succeed at. Many times we all tend to type what we believe to be better than average work only to have someone else find typographical or grammatical errors. No matter how many times we check, re-check, and get someone else to check and re-check our work, chances are one or more get through. Spell checkers are grate (great) as are grammar checkers, but they can't catch everything.

Perhaps the OP should check the Sex Stories section rather than the Forum for his penchant for getting horny, which I presume to mean he just wants to get a quick rub off and be on his way. In which case, thinking that English might not have been his favorite subject in school, he should just focus on the descriptives of the sex and bypass the actual story lines.
